ABOUT THE WORK
Top: Diet Coke x Frank Lloyd Wright
Bottom Left: Sprite x Le Corbusier
Bottom Right: Fanta x Zaha Hadi
This series of packages are a passion project inspired by my mom. As a Diet Coke addict and Frank Lloyd Wright worshiper, creating a collaboration project seemed like something I needed to to. While these were not for an assignment or client, I wanted to represent both the brand of the product and the architect paired with it intelligently. I prioritized the feedback I got from other designers and people who knew the architects I was representing well. Even though this was not a project brought to me by The Coca Cola Company, I went through the project keeping in mind what they would have wanted for their company representation, and treated the architects the same way. Each piece of the compositions is intentional. Nothing was added that did not hold some sort of meaning to either of the brands. It would have taken me significantly less time and research to work on this in a shallow way to develop something that simply looked appealing. One breakthrough I had while working through this project was that color was identifiable for the Coke product, and form was identifiable for the architect. Removing either piece of that equation would have made the compositions flat and unrecognizable to either of the brands it was representing and not as effective as a series.
